So, 2009-2010 has been a very CRAZY & BLESSED year for my LIL family & myself! There were LOTS of changes & decision made whether if it were good or bad, we were so very grateful for the many tribulations we were put through and blessings upon our family! I BELIEVE everything happens for a reason so that GOOD things can fall together & in the right place!
June 2009, was and still is a day i will NEVER forget; my husband & I got married after being together for five year
s=) We got married in court! We didn't have a big wedding, nor did we invite any families or friends to attend, besides our son & witnesses! We both were too excited to finally start this new chapter in our lives! We both plan in the near future to renew our vows & invite both families/ friends to attend and celebrate with us=)
I can honestly say & witnessed the many back to back blessings my family received after we got married! BLESSINGS? WHAT ARE BLESSINGS? WHERE DO THEY COME FROM? HOW DO I RECEIVE THEM? Are the questions I've always asked myself! I NEVER knew what blessings were till i actually experienced it! February 5, 2007, was a day we received such a special spirit a very warmth blessing in our lives, our son De'Shawn; ) I NEVER knew having a child could make someone's life worth living! I never knew that something so small could affect my life in so many different ways. I never knew I could love someone so much! Truly a Blessing!
My relationship with my husband grew stronger than it ever been! Our laughs are limitless, Our friendship is countless and Our Love for one another is ENDLESS! We don't go to bed mad at eachother nor do we miss saying "I LOVE YOU," to eachother everyday! We treat everyday like it's our Last!
We finally got our own place to do whatever we please! A car that takes us from A to B without having to depend on everyone! These are ALL the blessings we received less than a year! Of course there were a lot more, but these are my mainz=) It's so amazing actually witnessing such a wonderful opportunity in this crazy life we live in! I've gained a lot of wisdom and knowledge through all thee obstacles in my life! We've learned to appreciate and be thankful for the things we have and not take anything for granted! We've learned to forgive and forget not only ourselves, but our enemies as well!
We tell eachother everyday that one of these days everything will come together and make perfect sense, but for now we going to continue to live our lives to the fullest with no regrets/ no looking backs! Be grateful for eachother and keep reminding ourselves that everything happens for a reason...
Hey sister, i just want you to know that you are a bright woman with a strong head on your shoulder. Look how far you came? So independent, smart and a good mother/wife. Keep doing what your doing.. your blog is inspiring. I love you forever.
